Kara Payne serves as Director of Operations and Partner at Salon Sora, where she combines her passion for leadership, education, and guest experience to support both the salon team and its continued growth. Before relocating to Florida, Kara spent nearly a decade working in the salon industry in Pittsburgh, building a strong foundation in salon management and team development. Prior to her career in beauty, she spent 10 years in the health and wellness industry, an experience that continues to shape her people-first approach to leadership. Known for her dedication to creating exceptional experiences for both guests and team members, Kara oversees operations, education, marketing, and salon culture while helping bring Salon Sora's vision to life. Outside the salon, Kara is a devoted mother, artist, and horse lover. Her faith, creativity, and love for community inspire everything she does. A country girl at heart, she enjoys painting, collecting and listening to records, spending time with her daughters, and finding inspiration through art, music, and nature.
