A second-generation hair colorist with more than 35 years of experience, Michael Nasti brings an extraordinary depth of knowledge, artistry, and education to Salon Sora. A Master Colorist, educator, published author, and industry leader, Michael has dedicated his career to advancing both the craft of hair color and the professionals within it. Throughout his career, Michael has educated colorists across the country for industry-leading brands including Wella, Schwarzkopf Professional, Clairol, Keratin Complex, and Product Club. His passion for education led him to author Cosmetology: Hair Color, a professional reference guide that has sold more than 40,000 copies internationally and remains a trusted resource for beauty professionals around the world. A graduate of Flagler College with a degree in Business and advanced training through the Vidal Sassoon Academy, Michael combines technical excellence with an artist's eye and a deep understanding of the science behind healthy hair. Behind the chair, he is passionate about preserving hair integrity while expressing his artistry through the relationship between color, chemistry, and design. He specializes in beautiful blondes, dimensional highlights, rich brunettes, vibrant reds, and customized color tailored to each guest's lifestyle and goals. At Salon Sora, Michael works closely with his apprentice and teammate, Christina, sharing his decades of knowledge while helping develop the next generation of beauty professionals. Known for his warmth, professionalism, and commitment to excellence, he has built lasting relationships with generations of clients who value both his expertise and genuine care. When he's not at the salon, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife, Alexis, and their beloved dog, Luna. A lifelong musician and sound therapist, he continues to explore creativity through music, education, and the art of helping others look and feel their very best.
